I have worked in Public Practice accounting and tax for over 30 years, the last 20 running my own accounting practice in the northern suburbs of Perth. I am a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent.
Completing my Bachelor of Business (Majoring in Accounting) in 1989, I was admitted as a Certified Practicing Accountant in 1997. In 2017 I renounced my CPA status and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant.
Having worked for 10 years as an employee accountant in 2001, as the GST had just come in, I saw an opportunity to start my own practice. At the time accountants’ workloads effectively doubled and some clients in larger firms were falling through the cracks.
I don’t have staff; I do all the work myself. I get to understand your business and how it works and my clients get the benefit of continuity. Every client is important to me big or small.
An avid motorcyclist, my pride and joy is a modern classic Triumph motorcycle.
